Its global warming potential (GWP) is 3985 on the IPCC AR4 scale, and its ASHRAE safety class is A1 (non-flammable, lower toxicity). Systems on R507 normally use POE oil. Therefore, always use the refrigerant and oil shown on the equipment nameplate.
