Evaporator DD 14.9/80 is a cold room unit cooler (air cooler) listed by its DD 14.9/80 model code.
In this common naming the first number is usually read as nominal capacity in kW (14.9) and the second as coil area in m2 (80). Confirm capacity, refrigerant, fans and defrost with the data sheet.
What is an evaporator dd 14.9/80?
A refrigeration system has two coils. The evaporator (unit cooler) sits inside the cold room and absorbs heat from the air; the condenser sits outside and rejects that heat. Fans move air across both.
Coils are chosen by capacity, refrigerant, room temperature and defrost needs. Therefore, match the evaporator and condenser to the compressor and the room load.
