What is a flexible duct 14 inch?
Flexible duct is round ducting made from a wire helix with foil or plastic layers. It makes short, quick connections between rigid ducts and diffusers, grilles, fans and fan coil units.
Insulated flexible duct has an insulation layer and an outer jacket, so it stops condensation and heat gain on cooled air. Non-insulated duct suits extract and exhaust air. Therefore, choose the type by the air it carries.
