What is a copper ball valves PN16?

A ball valve controls flow with a drilled ball that turns inside the body. A quarter turn of the handle lines the hole up with the pipe to open, or turns it across to close.

Ball valves shut off quickly and seal tightly on soft seats, usually PTFE. Therefore, they are the most common isolating valve for water, air, gas and oil in small and medium sizes.
