Refractory fire brick lines furnaces, kilns, boilers and ovens where the hot face meets the flame.
Bed it in matching refractory mortar or fire cement.
What is a refractory fire brick?
Refractory products line furnaces, kilns, boilers, incinerators and chimneys. Dense fire bricks take heat and wear at the hot face, insulation bricks cut heat loss behind them, and castable and fire cements bond, patch and seal.
Alumina content, density and service temperature decide where each product goes. Therefore, match the refractory to the temperature and the type of heat.
