What is a sanitary valve?
A sanitary valve is a hygienic stainless steel valve for food, dairy, beverage and pharmaceutical lines. Its smooth, crevice-free inside surfaces drain fully and are easy to clean in place.
Common types include butterfly, ball, diaphragm and seat valves with clamp, weld or union ends. Because product touches the valve, materials and seals must be food grade.
