Seamless pipe is steel pipe with no welded seam, for high pressure and high temperature service.
It is used for steam, boiler, hydraulic and process lines. Tell us the size, schedule and material grade.
What is a seamless pipe?
Seamless steel pipe is made without a welded seam, so it handles high pressure and temperature evenly. Seamless threaded fittings, such as schedule 40 sockets and unions, join small steel lines with screwed joints.
Threaded joints are quick to assemble and easy to take apart. Therefore, they suit small-bore steam, air, fuel and process lines, while larger lines are welded or flanged.
